get married out here.
less frustration, more celebration
Does the thought of a Big Venue, a Big Guest List, and a Whole Big Wedding Production make you want to run for the hills?
If that’s a hard YES, I hear you.
Come to my place and let’s get you married.

Whether you want a short & sweet, laid-back ceremony in the fresh air, or a quick ‘just make it legal’ so you can go eat tacos — I’ve got you.
No stuffy rules, no judgment, no excessive wedding theatrics.
Just you two getting married, your way.
hello!
I’m Christina — an ordained wedding officiant in northern Ohio — and I marry couples here on our property in Seneca County, not far from Tiffin.
Here, ceremonies are non-religious, inclusive, and judgment-free. Period.
And here, my goal is simple — for you to feel relaxed, supported, and genuinely celebrated when you marry your person. To feel at home.
Most importantly, I want you to show up as you are and actually enjoy getting married.
No rigid expectations, no performance pressure, and definitely no forced traditions that make you cringe.
If this sounds like your kind of vibe, pull up a chair — you’re in the right place.

after my first wedding, someone called me “Rev” —
it stuck…and I kinda love it
two ways to get married out here
a small, laid-back ceremony or a simple marriage license signing — both are easy, just depends what you’re in the mood for
already booked a place?
If you already have a location and are looking for an officiant, I offer a limited number of offsite ceremonies.
This isn't a traditional venue or a wedding factory.
This is where we live, and life joyfully happens out here.
You may see my hubby out in the garden or an Amazon guy wondering where the hell he's supposed to leave the package.
But no matter what's happening in the background, you are front and center, and we'll make sure you feel welcome.
why out here?

My husband and I recently moved back to Ohio, and we chose this home because it makes room for our people. The inside has already seen big family celebrations, laugh-until-you-cry conversations into the wee hours, and the kind of gatherings where everyone — exes, in-laws, out-laws — can be together and still have breathing room.
Even with all that life inside, our outside space still felt kind of lonely in places. Like it was missing a little of its purpose — we just couldn’t quite figure out what that was.
I was out on the porch one day making a to-do list for a wedding I was going to go officiate (and probably daydreaming, let’s be real), when it hit me: what if people got married out here? No cookie-cutter rules, no performative nonsense…just open air and good energy.
I mean, our property just feels good. It’s beautiful, open, and inviting. Like Mother Nature herself is giving you a damn hug.
And there we had it — the purpose it had been waiting for.
To be a place where people can get married, sure.
But more importantly, to be a safe and welcoming space where couples can just be themselves while they’re marrying their favorite person — a place with permission to breathe.
things we embrace here:
awkwardness
happy tears
uncontrollable giggles
actual human emotions
all couples + all stories
The process was simple — everything was handled for us.
We answered a few questions, explained what we wanted, and our dream was delivered.
Communication was amazing, and no bit was left unspoken.
-C + N, happy couple
I spent years as a wedding photographer.
I watched couples get crushed by stress and impossible expectations…and wished I could do more.
Then I got to officiate one.
Turns out, my favorite place isn’t behind the lens trying to capture the best moments —
it’s right there beside you, helping you make them.
when you get here
Whether you’re here for a ceremony or a signing, the vibe is always the same.
You step out of the car, breathe, stretch your legs, maybe wave to the ducks. You might hear a train in the distance or a truck rolling by — it’s rural Ohio, and life hums along out here.
When you get here, I’ll be your host and officiant — my job is to keep it real and relaxed so you can actually enjoy yourselves.
To remind you to breathe, and that you’ve got this.
Your only job is to marry your favorite person on the planet…and have fun doing it!
And when you leave here, you’ll smile and know this was exactly right for you.
So, what am I like?
I’m basically an easy-going, down-to-earth person who gets a whole lot of joy from making people smile, and I’m really good at making people feel welcome and comfortable. (I’ve been called an ’emotional support human,’ and I wear that badge with pride!)
Think of it as Cool Aunt Energy: calm when it matters, playful when it counts, and fully on your side — with just the right amount of sparkle.
I’m also a self-admitted word nerd and a total softie for real-life love stories. I want to know your story — what makes you laugh, why you chose each other, what keeps you together. And I want to help you celebrate that…whatever that looks like.
Most importantly, I understand big feelings.
Look, I know this is a big day for you. Monumental.
So yeah, you might get nervous. Stumble over a word.
Snort when you laugh and laugh when you cry.
That’s human.
But guess what?
I’m really good at making awkward feel safe instead of embarrassing.
If you need a second, we take a second.
If you get a little anxious and forget to breathe, I’ll remind you how.
I’ll bring the steady vibe and the marrying magic — you bring the big love.

We chose Christina after seeing her officiate another wedding — she was fantastic, and we instantly clicked with her.
She made the whole process so easy and created a ceremony that felt perfect for us.
We both felt completely comfortable the entire time.
She is easy to talk to and easy to be around — 100% would recommend.
-Melinda + Billy, happy couple
yep, that's me
And that’s how I’ll show up for you (minus the circa-1984 hairstyle).
I was an actual cheerleader when I was a kid, but it turns out I never really stopped — I’ve always been rooting for people.
As a wedding guest, I’m the one trying not to cheer and clap too early when they smooch. The one trying not to jump and yell, “YOU DID IT!” at the end of the ceremony, because I know what it actually took for them to get to that moment.
I’ve been to weddings where the couple put so much pressure on themselves that they forgot to enjoy one of the biggest moments of their lives. Some weddings felt so serious that I had to remind folks to ‘act like you’re having fun’ for their photos.
I’ve never understood that, and that’s probably why I approach officiating the way I do — this isn’t a performance, it’s a celebration. (We’re not doing a seven-act production, but I do reserve the right to pull some Delightful Bullshit out of my pocket.)
I’m ridiculously invested in making sure you have a good time getting married, and to help you relax, smile, and breathe while you do it. To get you through the awkward laughter, happy tears, and unexpected gigglesnorts. And to be cheering you on the whole way.
not sure how you want to get married?
That’s okay! Tell me what you’re thinking and we’ll figure it out together.
