You don’t have to find a location and an officiant and then worry about coordinating the two.

how this works
It’s simple. Promise. Here’s the nutshell version.
You’ll submit the online contact form with some general information — dates you’re looking at, a little about you, the basics.
We’ll have a short conversation (video, phone, or email — whatever works best) to make sure we’re a good fit.
I’ll ask a few questions to get to know what matters to you, what doesn’t, and how you want this to feel. From there, I’ll create a ceremony that fits. It’s intentional and personal, whether you choose The Short Story or The Whole Story (keep reading — I’ll fill you in on those ceremony options shortly).
On the day of, you show up, you breathe and smile, and you marry your person.
Most ceremonies take place within about 35 minutes of Attica, Ohio, but if you’re a little farther out, reach out and we’ll chat.

I take the moment seriously, but I don’t make it serious.

OPTION 1: THE SHORT STORY (lightly personalized)
Think of this as the “just right” middle ground between a simple marriage license signing and a fully customized ceremony.
I’ll ask you a few easy questions — about your story, how you want things like vows and rings handled, how much you actually want to say out loud, and which of my style formats goes best with your vibe.
I’ll personalize the style you choose so it feels like your moment (not a courthouse moment), and boom: a sweet, simple ceremony that hits just right — all you basically have to do is show up and say “I do.”

It’s ideal if you want a ceremony that feels personal and real, but with minimal effort on your part. You participate a little, I guide a lot.
Low lift, good vibes, and simple in all the right ways.
OPTION 2: THE WHOLE STORY (fully customized)
This ceremony is custom‑built around your history, your dynamic, and the way you love each other — the steady parts, the chaotic parts, the “remember when we laughed so hard we peed our pants…” parts.
I’ll send you both my Storyboard questionnaire so I can learn the good stuff about what makes you two you. What you love about each other. What drives you slightly nuts. What feels true.
Bring me your awkward stories. Your silly inside jokes. The little things that make you giggle when you’re supposed to be serious.
Want to include a quote from your favorite rom-com? I’m in.
Want to open with “Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today…” from a well-known Prince song? I’m here for it (and I’ve done it — you can find that ceremony here).
You can even personalize your vows without having to write them or say them yourself — giving me custom questions to ask your partner, like, “Do you promise to cheer for the Cleveland Browns with me, even when they break our hearts?” (I know, brutal. But the things we do for love.)
This is for you if you want a totally unique ceremony and the option to have your own personal touches included.

You might be wondering why I personalize every ceremony — wouldn’t it be easier to just grab something generic online, slap your names on it, and call it good?
Well, here’s why.
Because when it comes to ceremonies, I believe that simple doesn’t mean insignificant, and custom does not have to mean complicated.
Because your relationship isn’t generic, and your ceremony shouldn’t be either.
And mostly because I believe that the people we love and the moments that matter deserve real attention. You’ve chosen each other, and you’re promising your lives to each other.

the fine print
- Signed agreement + payment in full reserves your date
- Your booking includes a $150 non-refundable retainer — any remaining balance will be refunded if you cancel more than 60 days before your ceremony
- Payments are non‑refundable if you cancel within 60 days of your date
- Ceremony availability:
→ Tuesday through Friday at 1:30 PM + 6:30 PM
→ Saturdays at 11:30 AM + 3:30 PM
- Valid Ohio marriage license + photo IDs required
- I’ll email you confirmation that your license was filed, along with your “just married” photos
- We are located in Attica, OH and the address will be provided when you book

One of the things I love about this area is that there’s plenty to explore if you want to turn your Big Day into a little local adventure!
We’re less than an hour from Lake Erie, and we’re really close to lots of beautiful parks and nature areas.
And if getting hitched makes you hungry, there are plenty of great places nearby to grab lunch, dinner, or a celebratory ice cream cone.
